WRF’s signature large pitcher in a limited edition white color! Designed to be narrower at the top with an unglazed base featuring the WRF signature on the bottom. All hand-thrown on the wheel in Orange County by ceramic artist and instructor, Nobuhito Nishigahara — each pitcher retains a unique, one-of-a-kind feel and appearance.  Use as a pitcher, but also a beautiful vase or utensil holder for your kitchen counter.

History:
Nobuhito Nishigawara originally hails from Nagoya, Japan and is now based in Orange County, California.  Fusing the traditional art of Japanese ceramic product with his work as a contemporary artist as well as his formal education in North America, Nishigawara has crafted a widely popular line of functional and casual ceramic-ware with a clean and minimalist aesthetic. The name ‘WRF’ stands for West, River, Field — which is also a direct translation of Nishigawara’s name from Japanese to English.

Variation:
Every WRF piece is handmade. There will be slight variations in form, size, color, and shape. These differences are treasured as a sign of the handcrafted nature of WRF.

Care Instructions:
These ceramic pieces are dishwasher and microwave safe, although hand-wash is encouraged to extend the life of the pottery.

 

Returns must be made within 2 weeks in original, unused condition with all packaging for either 1. Store credit for the full amount or 2. Refund – minus a 20% restocking fee.  Tortoise does not cover the cost of return shipping or the cost of re-shipping an exchange, and the cost of shipping for returns and exchanges is the responsibility of the customer.
