Available in the classic arare (dot) design, these Nambu Tekki cast iron teapots adheres to tradition. Intended neither for stovetop usage nor boiling water, each iron teapot is accompanied by a steel strainer. This allows you to steep your preferred tea directly within the pot and subsequently detach the strainer once the infusion reaches your desired strength. The interior boasts an enamel coating to deter rust and we advise you to diligently adhere to our care guidelines to ensure your teapot’s longevity over the years.

Variation:
Due to the natural iron material, you may see variation in the texture and appearance. Please know that your kettle will natural patina (change color and appearance) over time and this is the natural aging process.
Care Instructions:
Not for use on the stovetop. Before use, fill the pot with boiling water to rinse and warm your pot. Aftercare: Allow teapot to cool down completely after each use before cleaning. Do not use soaps or detergents. Avoid contact with salt/oils. Do not leave water or tea in pot for extended period of time. Rinse and clean thoroughly with warm water only. Wipe the inside and outside dry with a clean cloth while the pot is still warm, but not hot. Invert the pot to air dry before putting back infuser and lid. Note the steel infuser can be cleaned with or without soapy water.
