History: 
Rei Kawakubo is the pioneering founder and visionary designer behind Comme des Garçons, solidifying her position as one of the most influential women in the history of fashion. Born in Tokyo in 1942, Kawakubo pursued studies in Fine Arts and Literature at Keio University, began designing clothing under the label Comme des Garçons,  establishing the company in 1971. From its inception, Comme des Garçons attracted attention from the fashion elite, and has consistently been at the forefront of fashion among a diverse audience, resulting in the creation of numerous sub-labels.

Returns must be made within 2 weeks in original, unused condition with all packaging for either 1. Store credit for the full amount or 2. Refund – minus a 20% restocking fee.  Tortoise does not cover the cost of return shipping or the cost of re-shipping an exchange, and the cost of shipping for returns and exchanges is the responsibility of the customer.
