History:
Makié Yahagi opened up her small children’s boutique in New York in 1999. The daughter of a seamstress growing up in Japan, Makié was making clothing for her two sons (they’re now just a little older than her shop) when she got the idea to start a shop dedicated to children’s clothing.  All of her products are designed in New York, but made in Japan.

Machine wash delicate with a delicates bag.

Return Policy / Shipping Policy:
Returns must be made within 2 weeks in original, unused condition with all packaging for either 1. Store credit for the full amount or 2. Refund – minus a 20% restocking fee.  Tortoise does not cover the cost of return shipping or the cost of re-shipping an exchange, and the cost of shipping for returns and exchanges is the responsibility of the customer.
