Sola Cubes – Seeds & Plants

Description:
Each of Usagi No Nedoko’s sola cube features a piece of nature fixed in time in a cube of resin, a celebration of beauty and imperfection.  Inside every box is a description of the plant/flower encased, along with its botanical meaning.  Display just a single sola cube or your shelf, or have an entire collection of natural wonders – the magic is undeniable either way.

History:
The concept behind Sola Cubes marries two traditional Japanese values: a reverence for nature and a philosophical appreciation of small, humble elements that are easily overlooked. Each cube is cast from crystal clear acrylic resin and then hand polished, right down to its crisp, micro-radiused edge. Considerable craftsmanship is required to make the cubes, ensuring that no air bubbles are present. Preserved inside is a single leaf, seed, or flower—individually or in groups, the cubes create an opportunity for a meditative moment on the beauty and power of the natural world. Made in Kyoto, Japan by Usagi No Nedoko.

Resin and a single seed or plant

Variation:
Each seed and plant is unique. The positioning of the seed or plant in the resin will vary from cube to cube.

Care Instructions:
Wipe clean with damp cloth. Keep out of direct sunlight to avoid fading.

 

Returns must be made within 2 weeks in original, unused condition with all packaging for either 1. Store credit for the full amount or 2. Refund – minus a 20% restocking fee.  Tortoise does not cover the cost of return shipping or the cost of re-shipping an exchange, and the cost of shipping for returns and exchanges is the responsibility of the customer.
