Lemnos SOSO Awa Clocks

Even unintentionally, we look at the time several times a day.  Lemnos’ SOSO clock adds both a decorative element to your interior while being a functional tool for your daily life. The clock’s designer made color play a key role in the SOSO clock. The muted background color in contrast with the clock’s warm plywood frame, with the cheerful, yet striking white hour hand, creates an overall appearance that is balanced, slightly retro in feel, while also staying modern with its clean lines and simplicity. Features a sweeping second hand with no ticking sound. 

Variation:
The clock’s plywood frame is made from a natural material so there will be variation in the grain. 

History: 
The SOSO Awa clock is designed by an all-female design studio in Japan anchored by two sisters, Misa and Maki Awatsuji. The Awatuji duo began as primarily graphic designers for product packaging, and have more recently become more active in space planning and interior object design.

10” D x 2.3” W

Materials: 
Plywood and glass, 1 AA battery, sweeping second hand.
Rhythm Co. movement.

Care Instructions:
Do not wash with any chemical agents. Dust and wipe with a dry cloth as needed. The wood frame will naturally patina with age, and constant contact with direct sunlight may cause the wood to darken over time.

Returns must be made within 2 weeks in original, unused condition with all packaging for either 1. Store credit for the full amount or 2. Refund – minus a 20% restocking fee.  Tortoise does not cover the cost of return shipping or the cost of re-shipping an exchange, and the cost of shipping for returns and exchanges is the responsibility of the customer.
