MAKIÉ’s First Hadagi is a classic Japanese baby onesie made from 100% cotton pile that is gentle on infants’ delicate skin. The hadagi’s minimalist design clothes babies of all genders. A kimono wrap side tie and snap closure in the crotch make for easy dressing and diaper changes.

History: 
Born in Sapporo, Japan, Makié Yahagi opened up her small children’s boutique in New York in 1999. Her simple designs, emphasis on material and restrained color palette create a look and feel that is both suited for children and appreciated by adults. MAKIÉ was chosen as a 2021 fashion honoree for American Made Awards, presented by Martha Stewart in celebration of entrepreneurship among U.S. makers.

Care Instructions:
Machine wash on gentle cycle in cold water using a delicates’ bag. Hang dry recommended.
