Each knife in the Morinoki series is lightweight and handmade with a design that balances functionality and warmth. The broad serrations on the Morinoki bread knife’s unique handcrafted blade become finer at the tip. Having two types of serrated edges allows for the knife to cut both hard and soft breads smoothly, creating beautifully thin slices with minimal crumbs. The stainless steel blade is set in a wood handle made out of Japanese zelkova, a tree often enjoyed as a bonsai. Detailed attention is given to creating the handle’s smooth, rectangular shape to ensure a comfortable grip.
