Description:
Made from wild cherry tree bark and carefully polished by hand, Denshiro’s Cherry Bark Tea Scoop is a beautiful way of infusing ceremony into the simple act of scooping tea leaves. With use, the scoop’s surface will get more lustrous and shiny.

History: 
Since 1851, Denshiro has been known for producing the gold standard of fine cherry wood craft. Cherry wood is harvested in August and September in the mountains of northern Japan.

Wild cherry tree bark

Variation: 
Due to the natural material and handmade nature, each cherry wood scoop is unique with different wood grain. Wood is an organic material and will naturally change over time.

Care Instructions:
Do not wash, get wet or leave wet. To clean, wipe with dry soft towel in the direction of the grain for maximum luster.

 

Returns must be made within 2 weeks in original, unused condition with all packaging for either 1. Store credit for the full amount or 2. Refund – minus a 20% restocking fee.  Tortoise does not cover the cost of return shipping or the cost of re-shipping an exchange, and the cost of shipping for returns and exchanges is the responsibility of the customer.
