This kimono-style fleece jacket for babies up to 6 months old features a simple side tie and a warm soft body that is gentle on the skin.  Available in two colors of beige and charcoal, this gender-neutral staple can be be worn over a variety of different patterns and styles.  Made in the USA with fabric sorted from Japan, a perfect gift for expecting mothers.

History: 
Born in Sapporo japan, Makie Yahagi opened up her small children’s boutique in New York city in 1999.  Her simple designs emphasized material and a restrained color palette that created an aesthetic and feel that was well suited for children and appreciated by adults.  MAKIE was chosen as a 2021 fashion honoree od American Made Awards, presented by Martha Stewart in celebration of entrepreneurship among U.S. makers.

Care Instructions:
Machine Washable.  Use a mesh washing bag and choose gentle cycle wash with cold water. Hang dry is recommended for longevity.

 

Returns must be made within 2 weeks in original, unused condition with all packaging for either 1. Store credit for the full amount or 2. Refund – minus a 20% restocking fee.  Tortoise does not cover the cost of return shipping or the cost of re-shipping an exchange, and the cost of shipping for returns and exchanges is the responsibility of the customer.
